First Christian Church provides resources for adults to mature in Christ and find opportunities for ministry and service. This includes ministries for Men, Women and Senior citizens. We invite you to join us on our Christian Journey.

Adult Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Adult Study Groups, Sunday Nights at 5:30 p.m.

Men's Ministry

The Men’s ministry plans several monthly activities for all men at First Christian Church. Almost every first Saturday of the month we schedule a Men’s and Boys breakfast at 8 a.m. at the Youth Center. We enjoy great food, testimonies and Christian fellowship with each other and often watch a devotional video, as well. Check our Calendar to make sure there is one scheduled this month.

The Men’s Ministry also plans a golf outing at Tony Butler Golf Course on the third Saturday of each month at 9 a.m. If you are interested please Contact Us so we have enough tee times. Again, check the calendar to make sure we haven't made a change in the day or time.

We also participate with some CORE discipleship study groups. Contact Us if you are interested in joining a small group.

Women’s Ministry

The Women’s Ministry is a Christian group dedicated to the spiritual growth, enrichment and education of the women at First Christian Church. Through Christian fellowship and creative ministry, the Women’s Ministry extends a welcome to every woman of First Christian Church, enabling them to contribute to our Mission.

Our Mission includes many outreach and local projects, such as Loaves and Fishes, American Bible Society and End of the Road Ministry. Together, we also visit and bring gifts to shut-ins at homes and nursing homes, and provide birthday parties at local rest homes.

The Women’s Ministries also holds several Bible studies and Prayer group meetings each month at homes or at the church. We offer both morning and evening groups to try and accommodate all our members. Other special programs include book reviews, craft days, retreats, teas, pilgrimages and Saturday Ladies Specials. Every woman is always welcome, we invite you to join us today!

Discovery Class

First Christian Church offers several adult Sunday School Classes. At 9:45 is our exciting Discovery Class. After picking up a cup of coffee and some donuts or two, you can head on over to this class which includes a variety of ages. In the Discovery Class we cover several interesting and relevant topics. We also have periodical outings and get-togethers for fellowship time. Please join us!

Senior Saints

First Christian Church Senior Citizens are not forgotten as we plan activities for them, as well. Each Wednesday at 4:30 pm we meet in the fellowship hall for a Bible Study and Prayer time. Also, once a month we add a sandwich supper to our evening which allows for great fellowship time and meetings.

More Fun…

We also offer a Lady’s Bible Study group with the Pastor on the first Thursday of the Month at 10 am. Then after studying the Bible we usually go out to lunch.

First Christian Church loves outings! We often plan trips or outings, load up the Church Bus and go! Let us know where you’d like to go and we can see about putting together a trip.
